Single boiler
Single boiler machines are generally amongst the least expensive machines with prices on under $1000.
With this class of machines, espresso is produced and the operator then presses a button to activate steam. After a short delay, milk can be textured to produced milk-based drinks.
These machines do require more care to ensure that the boiler remains filled with water (boiler priming) or damage to heating elements can occur.
