This Art Series Linea Mini has history: This was a blank cheque customisation with the brief: “If there was no budget at all, what would you build?” With no budget at all, the result took over a year of blood, sweat, tears and finally elation to deliver the ultimate Linea Mini.

It has just received a comprehensive, no expense spared service and has a squeaky clean bill of health- so it’s absolutely perfect for the next owner. It’s been protected all the way and presents as brand new other than for a few very minor scuffs to the drip tray cover. You will need to look for them. It’s also internally immaculate.

• The build combines the classic La Marzocco Paddle with smooth, tactile feedback and a modern variable pressure pump to achieve full control of flow rate. It’s a really well set up MP paddle.
• Pressure profiling is achieved via a retrofitted variable speed rotary pump with a 3 phase brushless DC motor and associated control gear linked to a sensor so that paddle position regulates pump speed – drive by wire. It’s beautiful, fun and intuitive to use – think fully manual Strada EP. An initial click when the paddle is moved slightly to the left activates low pressure preinfusion. Thereafter, the further the paddle travels, the more pressure and flow increase. The user is able to create any desired pressure profile.
• Please note that this machine is currently  configured for plumbed in operation, but can be reconfigured to operate from the internal tank on request.
• Signature Coffee Machinist, Pantechnicon and Specht Design parts along with exquisite finishes and a beautiful colour palette deliver wow factor and elegance. These include stunning, intricate gauges (40 hours of work alone in these), anodising and Cerakote, bead blasting, world first leva operated steam and hot water valves, bronze bevel shot timer, bronzed branding and LM lion, Pantechnicon design paddle, double wall SS LM steam wand, shot timer, Specht design feet, Hybrid Specht design naked portafilter ($250 Specht white acetal handle/Pesado head), OEM LM Naked portafilter, custom diodes, bronzed external screws and many other visual, tactile and operational refinements.
• The reality is that there would be little, if any change from $25k if it could be replicated. We’re really sad to see it go, but it’s now time for this piece of coffee art to have a forever owner.
