This beautiful, unmarked black Olympia Express Maximatic was used for just 5 days while we had a January break- but we found it was finicky when it came to producing consistently great espresso- so we have decided that to be the best version of itself, it needs preinfusion and to extract espresso at 9Bar rather than the 11+Bar it runs out of the carton. ($1000 in r&d on this modification which will retail at $300)
We have modified it for the new owner with a custom preinfusion chamber and an overpressure valve to make for a happier and better machine. The shots are now sublime!
